About Me!
Developing With a Passion While Exploring The World.
My name is Jonathan Jean, a marketing major at the University of Connecticut. Born in Taiwan, I moved to America when I was just 10 days old
From a young age, I was an awkward kid who struggled with social interactions. This challenge fueled an obsession with understanding how people connect and communicate. As I gradually learned the nuances of human interaction, I eagerly shared my insights with others. Little did I know, this passion for understanding and influencing behavior was actually called ‘marketing’.

Work Experience
As a Business Strategy Intern, I promoted DoorList through various on-campus channels and events. I developed and executed marketing campaigns aimed at increasing user engagement and brand awareness, while collaborating with the growth team to customize campaigns for my campus. Additionally, I gathered user feedback to improve the platform’s experience, engaged with student organizations, influencers, and key stakeholders, and regularly reported on campaign performance, providing strategic insights to refine future efforts.
As a mentor for the Asian/Asian American Mentoring Program (AMP), I provide personalized support to over 50 freshmens, helping them adapt to their new college environment. I conduct career and skill-building workshops, offering guidance on academic and personal development. By sharing my own experiences, I empower mentees to set and achieve their goals while helping them build confidence and integrate into the campus community.
As Fundraising Coordinator, Academic Advisor, Secretary, and Historian for Pi Delta Psi Fraternity, Inc., I organize and lead successful fundraising campaigns, manage the fraternity’s social media to increase engagement and visibility, oversee meetings and correspondence to ensure smooth communication, and assist members in improving their academic performance by providing advising and implementing goal-setting strategies.
